Die Wiedervereinigung Deutschlands feierte 2020 ihr 30-jähriges Jubiläum!

Vorangetrieben wurde dieser Prozess von der sowjetischen Reformpolitik unter Michail Gorbatschow. Friedliche Großdemonstrationen und die Massenflucht von Bürgern der DDR führten zum Mauerfall am 9. November 1989. Genau um 18:57 Uhr verlas ein führendes Mitglied des Politbüros der DDR vor laufenden Kameras, dass ab sofort Privatreisen ins "Ausland" erlaubt seien! Tausende eilten noch am selben Abend und in der Nacht an die Mauer. Knapp ein Jahr später wuchs zusammen, was zusammen gehört, denn am 31. August 1990 kam eon "Einigungsvertrag" zustande. Und am 3. Oktober 1990 vereinigten sich die beiden deutschen Staaten zu einem einzigen souveränen Staat - nach 45 Jahren Teilung.
