Description:

FUZZ SO HEAVY, IT HAD TO BE SPLIT

The Crossover Fuzz is a screaming, swirling filter-fuzz monster. It takes your signal, slices it into high and low frequencies, and then absolutely wrecks each band with Death By Audio’s signature fuzz. Like a crossover circuit on a rampage, it gives you independent control over each half of your sound (highs and lows), letting you shape, destroy, and reimagine your tone like never before.

DETAILS

Want to blow through the mix on stage? Crank the Freq knob to sweep two analog resonant filters in tandem, carving out sonic space with surgical precision or dialing in chaotic, oscillating madness. Adjust the volume of your highs and lows separately for gritty tone sculpting or dial in your dream EQ.

With its HIGH and LOW inputs and outputs, you can use the Crossover Fuzz like no other fuzz on the planet: split your signal to different amps, isolate frequencies for creative effect routing, or use it as a stereo panner that slings frequencies across the room. You can even control the filter sweep with CV or expression, and the LED display reacts in real time to show you exactly where your crossover sits. Bonus: it looks sick on a dark stage.

This isn’t just a fuzz pedal. It’s a multi-dimensional fuzz engine. It’s Frankenstein’s monster, and it shreds.

KEY FEATURES:

Savage Dual-Band Fuzz - Splits your signal into highs and lows and demolishes them separately.

All-Analog Signal Path - Classic DBA tone with zero compromise.

Dual-Linked Filters - High-pass and low-pass filters with frequencies controlled in tandem.

Independent Gain & Volume for Highs and Lows - Total control over each side of the spectrum.

Deadly Resonant Filter - From subtle sweeps to screaming frequency spikes.

Flexible I/O Routing - HIGH and LOW ins/outs can split, combine, or stay mono.

Amp Splitting Made Easy - Send highs to your guitar amp, lows to a bass amp.

Stereo Compatibility - Works with stereo setups for massive spatial tone sculpting.

CV/Expression Input - Modulate the crossover point in real time.

Reactive LED Display - Glows and shifts color based on your filter position.

Tour-Grade Build Quality - Rugged enclosure ready to outlive your van.

CONTROLS

FREQ

Frequency of the low-pass and high-pass filters. The low-pass ranges from 30Hz to 7.6kHz and the high-pass ranges from 80Hz-17kHz.

RES

Resonance of the filters. Ranges from smooth, to hyper focused, to nasty oscillation.

GAIN

Amount of gain going into each filter. Ranges from clean, to overdrive, to towering fuzz.

VOL

Output level of each filter.

FREQ EXP (SIDE JACK)

Controls the filter frequency with an expression pedal or 0-5V external CV. Automate panning, filtering, stereo sweeps, and more. The FREQ knob will set the minimum frequency that your expression pedal or CV will go down to. Down = MAX RANGE.
Tip - Out, Ring - 5V, Sleeve - GND.

LIGHT SWITCH (INTERNAL)

Changes the color set of the LEDS.

“Sky Light”:

Low-pass = Yellow, High-pass = Cyan

“Cyber Light”:

Low-pass = Red, High-pass = Blue

INPUTS AND OUTPUTS

MONO

Plug into either INPUT H or INPUT L and the HIGHS MONO output. This combines both the low-pass and high-pass signals into a single summed output.

STEREO TO MONO

Plug into INPUT H and INPUT L, then connect to the HIGHS MONO output. This sums both the low-pass and high-pass signals into a single output.

MONO TO STEREO

Plug into either INPUT H or INPUT L and connect both the HIGHS and LOWS outputs. This splits your signal into stereo: the LOWS output carries the low-pass signal, while the HIGHS output carries the high-pass signal.

STEREO

When both inputs and outputs are used, INPUT L routes to the LOW output, and INPUT H routes to the HIGHS output for full stereo separation.

Same fluid as the Subaru brand
Size: 5 Quart, Style: 1 Pack
This is the manufacturer that makes the Subaru cvt fluid. I used this for the drain and fill on a 2019 Subaru Forester. No problem using a hand pump to fill the transmission. Excellent product will use again to service a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek.

2010 Subaru Outback CVT fluid 👍
Size: 5 Quart, Style: 1 Pack
2010 Subaru Outback CVT ... have been using this for several thousand miles instead of OEM fluid, and works just fine ... if your subie takes the "green" CVT fluid, this works excellent! I even used this after dropping the CVT valve body and replacing the lock up solenoid, so I had to replace with almost exactly 10 qts of fluid.

It Works! (Mustang 2016 ecoboost knocking noise)
Style: Modifier
I recently experienced a remarkable transformation in my 2016 Mustang Ecoboost, thanks to the LIQUI MOLY Oil Additive Cera Tec 3721. As someone with a passion for automobiles and a background as a software engineer, I'm always on the lookout for ways to improve my vehicle's performance. This product turned out to be a game-changer. One of the issues I had been facing with my Mustang was a persistent knocking noise, which can be quite concerning for any car enthusiast. After researching potential solutions, I decided to give LIQUI MOLY Cera Tec 3721 a try. And I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the results. The primary reason I opted for this oil additive was its promise of ceramic wear and tear protection. As someone who values the longevity of my vehicles, I wanted to reduce engine friction and wear as much as possible. This product did exactly that. The moment I started using it, I noticed a significant reduction in engine noise, especially the knocking sound that had been bothering me. It provided a smoother engine performance, and the difference was noticeable. What impressed me even more was the impact on fuel consumption. As someone who loves to travel and has explored six states during my time in the USA, fuel efficiency is a key concern. LIQUI MOLY Cera Tec 3721 not only improved my engine's performance but also led to lower fuel consumption. This means fewer stops at the gas station and more miles of adventure. Moreover, being a mentor and research assistant, I appreciate the science behind this product. It's clear that LIQUI MOLY has put considerable effort into developing a high-quality additive that benefits both petrol and diesel engines. This is the kind of innovation that I believe will shape the future of the automotive industry. In conclusion, LIQUI MOLY Oil Additive Cera Tec 3721 has not only fixed the knocking noise in my Mustang but has also enhanced its overall performance. It's a product that aligns with my goal of staying at the forefront of technology and innovation in the IT sector, even when it comes to my car. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve engine performance, reduce friction, and achieve better fuel efficiency. It's a small investment with significant returns for your vehicle.

Skeptical...... to Believer
Style: Modifier, Style: Modifier
I've waited awhile to write this review, to see how time effected my opinion. A little background, my daughter really wanted a 328i, so I went out and found a clean, single owner vehicle with a little over 100k on it. Its the family's first BMW, but as a mechanic I've seen and worked on them all. The BMW N52 engine seems overly complicated for what it does. Power output and economy are just average even though its got just about every bell and whistle including variable valve timing. One thing that struck me was how noisy it was. Kinda like a quiet sewing machine. I changed the oil to Mobil 1 0w/40 Euro blend and she drove it for 7k miles. During this time I read up on all the LL/01 oils for this car, so next oil change I used Castrol Edge, which is LL/01 certified. No difference. Car runs well, still sounds like a sewing machine. 7k more miles go by, and I learn about this CeraTec additive, and decide to give it a try based on all the good reviews. Yup, looks like a Orange Julius!! Well, I dump it it, and take it around the block. Engine seems a little quieter and smoother, but figure its my brain screwing with me. I slam the hood, and give my daughter the keys back, and off she goes. And here's where it gets interesting.... My 19 year old daughter doesnt know squat about cars. She a 100% gas it up and go girl. So about 2 weeks after the CeraTec goes in we are sitting at the dinner table and she says... " Oh Daddy, I forgot to thank you for tuning up my car". I ask her what makes her think I did? She replies that since the last service its much smoother idling at red lights and its quieter. (Remember, she's driven it for 7500 miles at this point) I asked her how could she tell, as the radio is always at least half volume. She says when its running and she's got the window down ordering at a drive -thru it used to go "tickity-tickity" ( her words)as it echo'ed off the building.. and now its silent. I go out and fire it up and roll down the window and stick my head out.... yup. Silent and verrry smooth. She also has average MPG constantly on display , and its improved about .65 mpg. So, if you add all that up, it seems to work. Liqui-Moly says its lasts 30k miles. I service the car every 7k, so we'll see if this all stays the same after a service, which is coming up soon. The car uses zero oil between services, so I cant comment on that. But from a smoothness, quietness point of view, if my daughter noticed it without me prompting her, I would say thats what made me a believer more than anything. Thanks Liqui-Moly.
