A 1.25-inch binocular viewer with built-in erecting prisms that lets you observe through both eyes simultaneously — delivering a three-dimensional sense of depth on the Moon, planets, and bright deep-sky objects that single-eyepiece viewing cannot match.
Using both eyes reduces fatigue during long observing sessions and engages your brain's natural depth perception. The erecting prisms correct image orientation so the view is right-side up and correctly mirrored — useful for terrestrial daytime viewing as well as astronomy. Fully multi-coated optics throughout the light path maintain brightness and contrast.
The sliding interpupillary adjustment (58–74 mm) accommodates a wide range of face geometries, and the single-eye diopter control lets you fine-tune focus for each eye independently. A parfocal design means you can center a target in a single wide-field eyepiece, then swap to the BinoViewer without losing focus. Twist-lock, self-centering eyepiece holders secure your eyepieces without set screws that can mar barrels.
Key Features
- Built-in erecting prisms for correctly oriented views
- Fully multi-coated optics for maximum brightness and contrast
- Sliding interpupillary distance: 58–74 mm
- Individual diopter adjustment for each eye
- Twist-lock, self-centering 1.25" eyepiece holders
- Parfocal design for quick transitions from finder eyepiece
- Compatible with refractors, reflectors, and Schmidt-Cassegrains
Ideal For
- Lunar and planetary observers — binocular vision reveals surface detail that single-eye viewing misses
- Long observing sessions — two-eye viewing dramatically reduces eye fatigue
- Terrestrial and daytime use — erecting prisms deliver a correctly oriented image
Good to Know
- Eyepieces are sold separately — use matched pairs of 1.25" eyepieces for best results
- Works best with telescopes that have sufficient back-focus (SCTs, long-focus refractors); fast Newtonians may require a Barlow to reach focus
