The Twin Disc HD Street Kit is a high-performance clutch system designed for demanding driving conditions. Weighing in at 48.9 lbs., this kit offers exceptional durability and torque capacity, boasting an impressive 891 ft/lbs., which is 53% more than the original equipment. With its organic disc material and a diameter of 10.5 inches (267 millimeters), it ensures reliable performance under high stress.
This street-oriented kit, the T1S-F09, is equipped with twin discs, doubling the surface area for improved wear resistance, heat dissipation, and overall longevity compared to single-disc setups. Its proprietary Positive Lift Floater System design ensures quiet operation without any rattling, enhancing the driving experience. Moreover, the kit features a four-stage heat-treating process on all diaphragms, ensuring durability and reliability even under extreme conditions.
The clutch discs in the kit feature premium organic materials with high copper content for efficient heat transfer, while the steel-backed lining enhances burst strength and durability. The chrome-moly hub undergoes heat treatment for added strength and longevity. Rivet design and materials are meticulously selected for maximum strength and performance.
Included in the kit is a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel to facilitate trouble-free installation and operation. The kit also comes with a pressure plate, two discs, a floater, flywheel, and alignment tool. Some kits may additionally include a pilot bearing and release bearing.
