Sorrento, Italy is a beautiful seaside town located on a cliff. Known for its sprawling lemon groves and limoncello! This city is a place of daydreams for me. Little shops and cafe's with lemon groves and a beautiful little city center where the residents meet up after work for a drink, a laugh and a stroll before heading home to have dinner with their families.
We all need more of that in our lives. This painting has fine brush work and exacting details on the gate and structures and looser pallet work on the ocean and stucco work of the building giving this painting plenty of texture." - Archie
