The book, The Black Knights of the Embarrass is a fictional novel based on truths and facts about the secret society that was established at Eastern Illinois University back in the 1950's in Charleston, Illinois. Although written fictionally as a novel to protect the innocent, it tells what went on and why the organiztion started and what they did and did not do. The book was written by one of the original Black Knights who was there in the very beginning, so the story is coming from the horses mouth. This book is quickly to become history because most of the original Knights are now in their middle seventies if not older.
