Product Overview
Silicon dioxide surface modification can reduce the surface energy, improve dispersion and increase compatibility with the substrate. Nanosilica surface is rich in silica hydroxyl, modification modification methods, mainly divided into physical modification and chemical modification of two categories. Physical modification is mainly through electrostatic adsorption, coating and coating and other physical effects on the surface of the particle modification; chemical modification that is, through the inorganic particles of silica hydroxyl and the chemical reaction between the modifier, to change the surface structure of the silica particles, to achieve the purpose of surface modification. Application Fields
Composite reinforcement: The addition of KH570-modified nano-SiO2 to glass fibre reinforced plastics (FRP) and thermoset resins significantly improves the mechanical strength and electrical properties of composites.
Transmission Enhancement Film Preparation: KH570-modified SiO2 is used to prepare hydrophilic transmission enhancement films, which have good optical and mechanical properties and are suitable for optical devices and protective coatings.
Improvement of material properties: It can be used to improve the properties of plastics, rubber, coatings and other materials, such as improving strength, toughness, abrasion resistance, weather resistance and so on.
