The Rankin Differentiator (Aqueous, Acetic Acid <5%) is designed to be used after hematoxylin staining to increase transparency and contrast between hematoxylin and eosin.

Removes nonspecific hematoxylin and slide adhesive staining.

-In Regressive staining, differentiator is used to remove unwanted hematoxylin staining of mucin
-Creates crisp blue-purple nuclear chromatin staining and an exceptional cytoplasmic transparency and definition.
-Recommended exposure time 30 Sec to 1 min.

The Rankin Differentiator is < 5% Acetic Acid solution.

Acid alcohol differentiators can result in inconsistent differentiation slide adhesive staining, and murky cytoplasmic staining.

The Rankin Differentiator can be used with any automatic stainer as well as in manual staining.

The shelf life of the Rankin Differentiator is two years versus the standard one year for competitive products.
