"Discepoli" is a composition created to accompany a photo with the same title, contained in the book ÒLe Forme del SuonoÓ (Marte Editrice, 2010) by Omar Algenii. The basic idea was to use an ostinato (teacher) and four individual voices (disciples), all entrusted to 5 violins. The music system used is part of the author's "Extended Music" project in which changes to the fundamental elements of the traditional music system are proposed.
