North American Police Equestrian Championships Top Horse The very first Police Equestrian Competition was held in 1983, and has since grown into a large yearly event known as the North American Police Equestrian Championships. Law enforcement officers (sheriffs, deputies, rangers, correction officers, secret service agents, marshals) and civilians who perform mounted duties for a law enforcement agency partake in this fun and challenging two-day competition! The 2012 Championship was held in Montgomery County, Maryland and was co-hosted by the Maryland National Capital Park Police and the United States Park Police Units. Every year, the competition includes multiple classes: Equitation, Uniform, Western Division and the crowd favorite, Obstacle Course. The focus of the Equitation classes is on the rider's horsemanship. Teams are judged on their riding performance, form and appearance. In the Uniform class, the Police Officer typically wears their dress uniform, and is judged their appearance, as well as their horse's tack and appearance. The Western Division class is similar to a Western pleasure class, as it evaluates a horse's ride, as the horse should appear to be a "pleasure" to ride with smooth and relaxed gaits. Police horses encounter many types of obstacles both during their training and during their daily work. The Obstacle Course portion of the competition offers up a challenge for each horse and rider to conquer! Each pair is judged on how well they complete each obstacle, all while staying in the allotted time. The 2012 North American Police Equestrian Championships Top Horse winner was Trooper, a 9-year-old Percheron/Hackney cross gelding, ridden by Constable Gregg John of the Toronto Mounted Police Department, Toronto, Canada. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each model will be donated to the Toronto Police Services Board. News Flash! Trooper Sweeps 2013 NAPAC Championships! We're delighted to report that at the recent 2013 NAPAC Championships, Constable Gregg John and Trooper were champions in every division! Congratulations to them both! http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2013/10/16/police_horse_overcomes_trauma_snags_glory.html http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/toronto/toronto-unit-sweeps-awards-at-police-equestrian-championships/article14890717/ Update: In 2013, the citizens of Toronto honored Trooper with yet another distinction. Trooper earned the title of "Mensch of the Year" by Toronto's weekly newsmagazine, The Grid, for making the city a better place to live. My dogs love them
Size: Large, Style: Peanut Butter
One of the few toys my pit bulls can't break. They absolutely love these toys and play chase with them. Usually, they can break toys in less than 5 minutes, but not these.

Good quality, not a bad price
Size: Large, Style: Peanut Butter
Good value. It was cheaper to buy the pack of three instead of buying three separate. I wanted to try different shapes for the dogs. Honestly, they aren’t impressed, but it’s not due to a lack of quality of the product. It’s because they would rather shred Kleenex, eat dog poop, and steal chicken eggs.

My dogs love love love these
Size: Large, Style: Peanut Butter
Repeat buyer here. I have Blue Heelers and Aussies so I have purchased many of the jumbo balls and we have loved them. I decided to gift this set to a friend. The pups ages range from 4 months-11 years and they adore these toys, even sleep with them! If you want to train your dogs to play with toys instead of your belongings, you can't go wrong with this peanut butter trio!
