Introducing the Black Box SpaceGAIN CAT5e Patch Panel, a purpose-built solution designed to boost rack density and simplify structured cabling in busy data centers, network closets, and office environments. This compact 1/2U, unshielded patch panel is purposefully engineered to optimize space without compromising performance, delivering a clean, scalable backbone for your Ethernet infrastructure. With 24 front-facing RJ-45 ports and a rear termination system built around 110 blocks, SpaceGAIN brings a disciplined, repeatable termination process that saves time during installation and future reconfigurations. The design prioritizes ease of access, organized cable management, and reliable connectivity, making it an ideal choice for installations where space is at a premium and network reliability is non-negotiable. By combining a forward-sliding termination method with a horizontally protruding rear block layout, this patch panel minimizes clutter while ensuring that termination points remain reachable and identifiable, even in densely populated racks. Whether you are provisioning a new network, upgrading an existing one, or standardizing cabling across multiple rooms, SpaceGAIN CAT5e delivers predictable performance and straightforward maintenance that networks rely on day after day.

  • Space-saving 1/2U design with rear 110 blocks protruding horizontally to maximize rack density while keeping cable routing tidy and accessible.
  • Front RJ-45 ports provide quick, convenient access for patching, testing, and reconfiguration without removing the panel from the rack.
  • 90-degree, top-down termination method slides forward to terminate, simplifying installation and maintenance while preserving cable integrity and labeling clarity.
  • Unshielded CAT5e performance supports standard office and data-center networks, delivering reliable gigabit connectivity for everyday Ethernet deployments.
  • Durable 24-port configuration supports expanding networks with straightforward cable management and labeling for scalable growth and long-term organization.

  • Route cables neatly behind the panel, maintaining proper bend radii and avoiding crossovers that could impede airflow or coverage.
  • Attach patch cables to the front RJ-45 ports as needed, then test each connection to confirm continuity and correct pair wiring before closing the rack.

Frequently asked questions

  • Q: What is the primary benefit of the SpaceGAIN CAT5e patch panel? A: It delivers high-port-density, space-saving cabling with a rear termination designed to maximize rack space while maintaining orderly, accessible terminations for reliable network connectivity.
  • Q: Is this panel shielded? A: No, it is unshielded (UTP), suitable for typical CAT5e deployments in standard office and data-center environments.
  • Q: How many ports are available? A: 24 front-facing CAT5e ports give you ample room for patching and expansion in a compact 1/2U form factor.
  • Q: How does the termination mechanism work? A: Termination is performed on the rear 110 blocks with a 90-degree, top-down orientation; the panel slides forward to access the termination points during installation.
  • Q: Will this fit in a standard 19" rack? A: Yes, the patch panel is designed for 19" racks and occupies 1/2U of vertical space, optimizing density in crowded rack enclosures.

More Comfortable than an Airbed
Color: light gray, Size: cot
I purchased this 4-inch foam floor mattress for when grandchildren stay over. This is my 2nd one, since zi have 2 grandchildren. I don't have room for beds or bunk beds, but I have a space where I can store these. I slept on it myself several nights in a row when I had company and I found it to be much better than sleeping on an air bed. I purchased mattress covers and fitted sheets that fit the exact dimensions of the mattress and I am happy to be able to provide a perfect sleeping setup for my 2 grandchildren! If you have a place to store the mattress when it's folded (25 inches high, 31 inches wide, 12 inches deep) I recommend a 4-inch thick foam floor mattress over an air bed. In my home it is the perfect solution! Follow all the directions for allowing the mattress to reach its full thickness. It is vacuum packed and needs several hours (almost 2 days) to expand.

Like a new bed.
Color: White, Size: Queen
Surprising how small the box it was delivered in. As the packaging is removed, the topper grows to full size. Easy to install. Very comfortable to sleep in. Getting into and out of a bed that is four inches taller takes some getting used to.
