The 4018C Compact Supercardioid Microphone from DPA is designed for capturing professional-grade audio. It can be used for music recording in broadcast, ENG, film, and long-distance miking applications such as booming, dialogue, interview, and table or spot-recording use. The microphone features a uniform and well controlled supercardioid pattern that provides high separation without off-axis frequency peaks and dips, providing an even sound around the microphone. The rear lobe pattern on the microphone is minimized for isolation, allowing for use as a spot or hanging mic in orchestra recording situations. The 4018C offers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and is powered by 48V phantom power. The package includes a microphone clip and windscreen.
