The Sacred Grove ~

In a quiet corner of Cloven's wild woodland world, lies the essence for that which we exist - a deep love & appreciation for the spellbinding nature we call home.

A place of haunting, spectral mists, transformative rains, howling winds, birdsongs and night spirits.

The sacred grove.

During the day, in the dappled sun, the grove's trailing forest paths - teeming with blanketing flora and native fauna and thickly lined with evergreens, oaks and maples - throw a myriad of colors across the landscape much like an artist's masterpiece.

At night, this otherworldly portal cloaks itself in a darkened veil, embracing it's shadow side.

Daylight's verdant foliage becomes nearly pitch black save for the slivers of lavender light - cast from a luminous silver moon - that pierce through the abundant wilderness, revealing that which is otherwise hidden in this parallel universe.

Shining eyes of the grove's darklings and the spark of fireflies mimic the starry night sky above.
The light half's spirited symphony is replaced by the rustling of an unseen footfall, a cunning predator's mastery and the rhythmic beating of nocturnal wings ... The cry of one lost soul to another.

And finally when the hazy dawn once again emerges and the darkness fades - leaving behind very few tangible traces of ever having occurred at all - time in the sacred grove, often, seems but a dream.

Inspired by a place of such natural beauty and wild mystery, totems of hand-strung glass beads - in shades of sparkling dappled amethyst, gilded rose gold and a rich earthen slate blue are accompanied by feathery leaves of patina black Czech glass.

The earrings measure 3-3/4" long including the antiqued brass French hooks.
