The Eaton Basic PDU is a compact, high-value power distribution solution engineered for reliability in data centers, server rooms, and network closets. Built to fit a single 1U rack space, this horizontal PDU delivers a clean, organized, and scalable way to distribute power to multiple IEC 60320‑coded devices. With 16 IEC 60320 C13 outlets and a robust C20 input, it supports a wide range of IT equipment—from servers and switches to storage arrays and backup devices—while maintaining a tidy, low‑profile footprint in dense rack environments.

  • Compact 1U form factor for dense racks: This horizontal PDU is designed to maximize space in 19" server racks, enabling efficient use of vertical real estate while keeping cables and devices organized for optimal airflow and cooling.
  • 16 x IEC 60320 C13 outlets for broad IT compatibility: The PDU provides a generous number of C13 receptacles, making it easy to power multiple devices with a single, centralized distribution unit. C13 outlets are a standard across servers, switches, and many network equipment models.
  • Flexible, single‑phase input with wide voltage range: The C20 inlet accepts 100–240V AC, enabling operation in different regions and data centers without the need for a voltage conversion. This flexibility supports global deployments and reduces the need for regional variants.
  • High power capacity in a compact footprint: With a maximum load of 3330 W (3.33 kW) and a 16 A current rating, the Eaton Basic PDU is well-suited for mid‑range IT deployments where multiple devices require reliable, uninterrupted power distribution.
  • Simple, reliable design for IT environments: Built for durability in rack ecosystems, the PDU emphasizes straightforward installation, predictable performance, and easy integration into existing power distribution strategies—ideal for data centers, colocation spaces, and growing IT closets.

how to install Eaton Basic PDU

  • Prepare the rack: Ensure your 19" rack is clean, level, and capable of supporting the 1U height. Check available space and plan cable routing to minimize obstruction to airflow.
  • Mount the PDU: Attach the Eaton Basic PDU to the rack rails using the included mounting hardware. Align the unit securely, then tighten screws to ensure stability and prevent movement during operation.
  • Power down equipment: Before connecting any devices, power down the IT equipment to be connected and verify that the local power source matches the 100–240V AC range supported by the PDU.
  • Connect input power: Use a compatible C20 power cord or inlet lead to connect the PDU’s IEC 60320 C20 inlet to the building power supply. Ensure the circuit can safely handle up to 16 A and that voltage is within the 100–240V range.
  • Distribute IT devices: Plug servers, switches, storage, and other equipment into the C13 outlets. Balance the load across outlets to avoid overloading any single circuit and to maintain stable performance for critical devices.
  • Manage cables and airflow: Route cables neatly, using ties or channels to minimize clutter. Keep intake and exhaust paths clear to support efficient cooling and reduce thermal hotspots within the rack.
  • Test and label: Power on the rack and verify that all connected devices receive power. Label each outlet group or branch if you implement a separation by function or device type to streamline maintenance and future upgrades.

Great toy
Color: Grey
My girl loves this toy. She has a lot of toys but this is her favorite. She is a 26 lb mini golden and we have had it over a year. It is just now starting to show wear. Once it is completely worn out I will buy it again!

15 Minutes….with update x2
Color: Orange
Within 15 minutes my 10-month old puppy had one of the moose antlers torn half off. I’ll see if he is able to destruct any more of this “indestructible” toy. If it holds up I’ll come back and upgrade the number of stars but for now…not impressed. UPDATE: Sadly he was able to rip it open via the appendages (the legs). The main body of the toy seems pretty tough but no dog is going to keep away from the legs. Downgrade to 1 star. UPDATE #2: I just received my second attempt at using this “indestructible” toy. This time I went with the rino since the legs are rope and not a sewn on leg. Well, in about 5 minutes my puppy had the horn torn and the horn provides direct access to the inside stuffing. As mentioned above, the legs are rope. The design was pretty smart in that both the front legs is one posted of rope going through a hole made in the stuffed toy. Same for the rear legs. This prevents the dog tearing them off and getting access to the stuffing. Sadly the horn being torn off right away makes this toy destructible. I think the only way they may be successful calling this an indestructible toy would be if they made a ball out of the body material or perhaps something in the shape of a bone.

AWESOME TOY for aggressive chewers
My 4 legged fur baby has only had for a few days. Now we’ve purchased several others in the past and he LOVES them. EXTREMELY durable. He is a dachshund and loves to destroy his toys. It’s almost like it’s a mission to see how fast to get the stuffing and squeakers out of his toys and can say he has been unable to destroy any. Now the reason I gave this only 4 stars is because the end of the tail has hair like material and he did start tearing this apart. Was finding the hair on his blanket and hanging out of his mouth. So I just trimmed the tail and he is back to loving on his toy. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Cute and my dog loves it
My dog loves toys she can play rough with both her teeth and paws and this one was loved the second it came out of the packaging. We liked that the eyes are sewn patches so nothing to swallow if it detaches (other than the material). The knotted ropes that form it’s arms and legs actually move through the body from side to side, which makes tugging games fun and interesting. We also liked that there were no dangling easy-to-chew off bits, for example, the ears are tiny nubs so she can’t get them off with her teeth easily. The stuffing is also firm and full so it’s like a soft toy to cuddle up with but with rope limbs to sink her teeth into. She rates it highly.
