Description
Torrey – S/T [OAT MILK WHITE VINYL] – New LPSF Bay Area textural pop group Torrey delve deep into a translucent dreamworld on their self titled sophomore album. Bending classic shoegaze, rainy day indie rock sounds, and 90s alt rock flair into more intricate forms, the band uses these guitar forward songs to shape shift between gentle drifting and noisy breakthroughs. Some touchstones might include Lush, Drop Nineteens, Cocteau Twins and The Breeders, but Torrey have a deft grasp of their craft
SF Bay Area textural pop group Torrey delve deep into a translucent dreamworld on their self-titled sophomore album. Bending classic shoegaze, rainy day indie rock sounds, and 90s alt rock flair into more intricate forms, the band uses these guitar-forward songs to shape-shift between gentle drifting and noisy breakthroughs. Some touchstones might include Lush, Drop Nineteens, Cocteau Twins and The Breeders, but Torrey have a deft grasp of their craft and a forward-thinking studio approach that places them very much in the NOW. Singles like "No Matter How," "Bounce" and "Moving" are pure 2024 and place Torrey firmly alongside like-minded groups like Seablite, Mo Dotti, Winter and Alvvays who are enlivening a similar set of inspirations.
It's fitting that Torrey's most masterfully crafted album is also their first for Slumberland. As the album plays out, it perfectly arranges contradictory expressions of angst and tenderness, exaltation and melancholy, restlessness and acceptance. These songs are obsession-worthy for any dream pop enthusiast, with Torrey managing to call on some familiar spirits for guidance while sounding more like themselves than ever before.

Nice Shirt, Excellent Color, Decent Fit
Size: 15"-15.5" Neck 34"-35" Sleeve, Color: Black
This shirt is a good looking shirt. Color is excellent. I got the 15-15 1/2 34x35 which I'd say fit in the 'classic' style (not slim) and was more like a 15 1/2 34x35. This is typical of a 'classic' fit shirt and is not a flaw. Color looks great. Nice solid black with seams well sewn. No loose threads. I've worn Van Heusen's for years, and this shirt lives up to the quality / fit that I'm accustomed to. If you're looking for a great shirt, this is an excellent option

Nice Shirt for Price
Size: 17"-17.5" Neck 34"-35" Sleeve, Color: White
Good fit, runs to size, built in collar stays is only drawback.

Needs to be ironed
Size: 16"-16.5" Neck 32"-33" Sleeve, Color: Grey Mist
It doesn’t come with wash/dry instructions.
I washed in warm water and dried on normal setting. Came out horrible with many wrinkles.
Looked up instructions and it says cool wash and 10 minutes of drying. It will for sure need to be ironed.
Otherwise a very nice shirt.
