Each one is about 2" inches wide and epoxy coated to protect the design no matter what your workplace is like. The reel itself has a 24" retractable cord and an alligator clip on back. The interchangeable shape has Velcro on the back ("hooks") so it can easily be swapped out on your reel. 

The best part about the interchangeable reel is that once you buy one, you can buy as many shapes as you like to swap them out. No need for buying a new reel each time!
