It comes equipped with a travel-ready enclosure, which includes built-in handles, a pole mount receptacle for full-range speakers, and rigging points for suspension. There’s also onboard DSP, which provides a variable lowpass filter, two output power presets, polarity inversion, and a Mono Mode function for multiple subwoofers.

Custom-designed 18-inch driver

Your new PreSonus CDL Sub18 powered subwoofer comes loaded with a custom 18-inch woofer. The speaker cone is paired with a 4-inch voice coil and 2,000 watts (peak) of Class D power. The assembly is extremely robust and can handle 7mm of travel before over-excursion. Together, those elements enable the subwoofer to produce a highly detailed bass response fit for every occasion. Whether you’re using it on the road or as part of a permanent installation, the CDL Sub18’s custom driver really delivers the goods.

Great for touring acts

PreSonus designed the CDL Sub18 to be the perfect traveling companion for tours, performers, and mobile DJs. In addition to its custom-designed low-frequency driver, this unit has a road-ready enclosure. The lightweight and durable enclosure, paired with a robust steel grille, ensures this speaker is ready for prime time — night after night. While the CDL Sub18 is an excellent touring subwoofer, it’s equally capable of permanent installation in a venue.

Onboard DSP

Included DSP makes the CDL Sub18 more versatile than other PA subwoofers. First, it has a variable lowpass filter to perfectly dial in the crossover point. You also get a pair of output power presets to optimize the bass performance according to your environment and application. The DSP also offers polarity inversion, allowing you to create a cardioid subwoofer array. Finally, the CDL Sub18 includes limiter protection to safeguard your speaker from signal spikes and other electrical woes.

It’s very sturdy and I like the quality of the fabric and the metal. It’s very easy to open and close and it makes my patio look great. It gives me the perfect amount of shade and the fabric thickness is perfect at keeping the harsh sunbeams from getting through. I also think the price is great for what you get. I would definitely recommend this umbrella because it’s made well and works well. It’s also very easy to clean. I just use my garden hose and spray it down and let it air dry. It also fit perfectly in the stand I already had and it works great. I am very happy I got to try this out.

Great replacement patio table umbrella.

After a windstorm destroyed my old umbrella on our patio set, I was looking for a new one that wouldn't break the bank but also held up to the direct sun of the summer months. The material part of the umbrella top seems like it is nice and thick and the stitching is overlapped in the corners which should provide a lot of strength for the windy days. I really like the neutral colors of the fabric, as that will go well with the rest of my outdoor furniture. The medal pole portion is perfectly straight and the pivot point connection seems nice and tight. I would think that this umbrella will stand the test of time. No assembly needed, just pull it out of the box and extend the fabric.

The height shown in Amazon's pictures does not match the actual height for the 9- and 10-foot umbrella. The heights are something more like 90-95 inches rather than the 108 and 120 inches indicated. The 9- and 10-foot umbrella description seems to refer to the diameter of the umbrella instead. I have returned them, but Amazon has not yet corrected the listing.
