Solid cedar — preservation and protection on 3 levels: its hygroscopic properties naturally regulate humidity in each drawer. Its terpenes enrich the aromas of your Cohibas, Romeo y Julietas, or Bolivars as they age. It repels the tobacco beetle without chemicals. The two humidifiers, amplified by the cedar, maintain 65-75% RH homogeneously throughout the entire volume.

Recommended initial conditioning: wipe all cedar surfaces of the drawers with a slightly damp cloth (distilled water). Place the two refilled humidifiers and close for 24 to 48 hours. Check the hygrometer on the front — wait for stabilization between 65% and 75% before placing your collection. Distilled water only for the two humidifiers.
Totally silent humidor: the Prestige Cedar Lux contains no motorized electronic elements — no fan, no pump. The LED is the only active electronic element. This is a significant advantage for a living room or office piece of furniture: no background noise, no vibration that could disturb the aging of the cigars.

If the set screws were white the shelves would be perfect.

I'd give 4 1/2 if there was one. The shelves thwmself are nice I just don't like the visible little black set screws. The shelves themself look great and are not wobbly at all if you install correctly. I purposely installed the bracket upside down because of the little black setting screws; I didnt want them showing because the shelves are above eye level and the screws are black and I didn't want them showing. But that made the shelf lean amd wobbly so I turned them back over the way they are supposed to be and that made them level and sturdy. I guess I'll paint the little screws.
