Carbon Tank Cover for Honda CBR1000RR - Ilmberger Carbon

 

The top tank cover in our unique design for the Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade 2017 blends into the motorcycle's overall appearance. Located right in the field vision of the rider and framed by painted parts, the Ilmberger Carbon tank cover underlines the Fireblades sporty looks. The matte-grey original plastic part can be completely replaced with the Ilmberger Carbon tank-cover. The mounting takes place only on original screw points. Both the integrated cable guide, and the cover of the steering damper can, of course, also be found on the Ilmberger Carbon part!

 

This part is a direct replacement for the original component and contributes mainly to weight saving on the motorcycle (up to 70% less) and a higher stiffness of the parts. Like all of our carbon fibre parts, it was made according to the latest protocols and industry standards and can be considered to encompass all aspects of current 'best of industry' practice. The part is made completely out of pre-preg carbon fibre materials using an autoclave. As with all our carbon parts, we use a clear plastic coating that not only improves the appearance, but also protects the carbon fibre from scratching and has a unique UV resistance.

Surprisingly good shirt for the price

I’m generally pleased with my purchase. I got a 2XL because the website it would fit my neck. Around the waist it fit similar to Amazon Essentials work shirts (like mechanics use which I find comfortable). It was snug around the waist when sitting, but I can’t complain because I have a belly. I did find the neck snug when buttoning the top button so it means the neck is 18 or 18.5 and I wear a 19/19.5 to have 1-2 fingers space in the collar. The shirt is surprisingly thick like Amazon’s work shirts, much thicker than other dress shirts from another brand. And I am pleased that this shirt has button holes like other Amazon shirts does, all vertical button holes except the last one at the bottom which is horizontal. That feature keeps the shirt from unbuttoning itself during daily movement at the office. A very nice feature! I was a little disappointed in how it was packaged however but I have to press and wash it anyway.
