At risk youth forced to make their way in a world that makes no sense, will find strategies and answers to questions they haven’t even considered.
Using realistic, stimulating interactive group exercises and activities written specifically for hyperactive youth with limited attention spans ARISE Life-Skills for Middle School engages the introverted to the most rebellious adolescents, putting these vulnerable youth at ease, so they learn life skills in a nonthreatening, positive environment.
The middle school curricula provide a safe haven from negative social pressures and stereotypes. The books are written in such a way that it’s “cool” to be smart and excited about learning. ARISE curricula and groups are also a refuge from abusive family and gang life. These middle school lessons provide a solid foundation for troubled youth to understand and deal with pressures from a variety of situations in their young lives.
Of course our mutual goal is educating these children so they will be competent and independent enough to make their way successfully in a life that is unpredictable and very often unfair.
