How Darwinism corrodes morality: Darwinism, immorality, abortion and the sexual revolutionThis book looks at how Darwinism has adversely affected morality in Western culture, not only sexual morals, but also the mistreatment of minority races, the killing of the sick and diseased and the rise of the abortion movement. This book looks at how Darwinism has adversely affected morality in Western culture, not only sexual morals, but also the mistreatment of minority races, the killing of the sick and diseased and the rise of the abortion movement. Key figures of the twentieth century are considered: Havelock Ellis, Margaret Sanger, Friedrich Nietzsche, Sigmund Freud, Benjamin Spock, Karl Pearson, Anders Behring Breivik and others. The ideological impact of Darwinism on such issues as eugenics, abortion, racism, war and social policy since Charles Darwin’s On the Origin of Species was first published in 1859 is profound. Overturning the predominately Judeo-Christian worldview of previous centuries, Darwinism has infiltrated every area of science, philosophy, art, literature, business, anthropology, social policy, governance and medicine. We need to understand the foundational problem in order to propose ways that societal reforms can be addressed in our day–this book will help us do just that.

______________

Jerry Bergman (Ph.D.) has taught biology, genetics, chemistry, biochemistry, anthropology, geology and microbiology at the college/university level for over forty years. Dr. Bergman has taught at the University of Toledo Medical School, Bowling Green State University and Owens College in Ohio. Dr. Bergman has over 1,000 science publications to his credit, in twelve languages, has published over forty books and monographs and has been a consultant for over twenty science textbooks. He has spoken frequently about his research on American radio and television programs and at conferences around the world. His first book for Joshua Press was titled, Hitler and the Nazi Darwinian Worldview: How the Nazi Eugenic Crusade for a Superior Race Caused the Greatest Holocaust in World History (2012).

______________

‘The book has 17 chapters, 294 pages of text, hundreds of references conveniently footnoted on the applicable pages, an 18-page bibliography, but no index. Readers will learn shocking things about the beliefs and actions of well-known figures, such as Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood), Alfred Kinsey, Nietzsche, Freud and Hitler, and be introduced to lesser-known but very influential leaders like Karl Pearson, Havelock Ellis and Chet Raymo. Of special note are the Darwinian beliefs that influenced Charles Manson and Anders Brevik (the Darwin-lover who murdered 77 young people in Norway in 2011). Bergman quotes their own writings so readers can see for themselves what they believed. Chapter 11, "Preaching Darwinism: A history of church support for eugenics" is particularly disgusting. Bergman details how many so-called Christian leaders, hoodwinked by Darwin's pseudo-scientific "law" of survival of the fittest, joined the bandwagon of "racial purity" instead of preaching God's clear principles of helping the poor and needy. And his account of Japanese sadism in during World War II will turn your stomach. I wish this book were required reading for high school or college students, to see the havoc that Darwin's Century wrought before becoming tempted to follow Darwinism. And I wish pastors would read and know this history to warn their flocks that ideas have consequences. Dr Bergman's other book The Darwin Effect is a good companion to this one; the contents supplement this book without overlap.’ Dave C

Great socks, watch out for bad seller
Number of Items: 6, Color: Black (6-pairs), Size: Medium
The socks are great, comfy, padded where you want it. I used these for work socks; I have a blend of corporate desk life and maintenance work. I like the low cut so my shoes don't rub the back of my ankle but not so high that socks always fall down. Great for running and sports as well. Been using these for years. Buyer beware though of the particular seller Liegnitz Group: They were late shipping, sent me the wrong socks so I sent for a return and they send me the right ones. My return got delivered back to them but they did not process it and did not send out any new ones. They cancelled my order and acted like I got the right ones all along. Buy from a different retailer.

Comfortable with perfect fit
Number of Items: 6, Color: White (6-pairs), Size: Medium
I have had these socks for a few weeks now and wear them when running. I have small feet at a men's size 7 and they fit perfectly. Most men's socks are to big for my feet. They are pretty thin but well made and have good cushion. I recommend these for anyone that likes ankle socks for athletic activities.
