The nickel fittings are excellent with strong details, and a finish that is intact with great tone. The stag handle grips are excellent, as is the aluminum police insignia affixed to the grip. Below the crossguard is a clamshell embellished with a large eagle. This is excellent and very scarce. The black leather scabbard with nickel silver fittings is also excellent in every way. The blade has a few spots of slight darkening but is overall very good. You can see the E&F Hörster logo on the obverse, just below the crossguard. This is an excellent example of an updated to “TR” period police bayonet.

I picked up this Siebwin 3-panel folding room divider mainly for privacy and room separation, and overall it works very well.
