• Is the powerbank covered in real wood?

  • Yes, the 4000 mAh slim powerbank is covered (on both sides) in real wood, hand selected by our team for beauty and uniqueness. Wood options for most all of our cases include Mahogany, Black Walnut, Carmalized Bamboo or Aromatic Cedar.

  • Should I get matching sunglasses made of wood?

    • Duh. How cool are you on Saturday afternoon with a Bamboo phone case and matching Bamboo Frame Sunglasses. Seriously.

    • Can I customize or personalize my wood powerbank?

      • Of course, we offer a full custom shop here. The process is simple: find your image or logo (in black and white – jpg format) and send it to us. Pretty straightforward. We will get to work on design and production right away. You can also customize or personalize a matching journal/planner, mousepad or flask. How cool to have a personalized wooden phone case and a set of matching wood accessories.

      • Will the wood get stained and ugly?

        • It could, but unlike plastic and other synthetic materials, our wood powerbanks actually get better looking over time. We ship the powerbanks with only one light layer of polyurethane. This means the case will age and the more you use it, the more the wood will look authentic and vintage. Some artisans actually use coffee to stain wood in beautiful mocha hues. (we don’t recommend dropping your powerbank in your coffee).

        • How long will it take to charge my iPhone?

          • About the same amount of time as the 5W wall charger that comes with iPhones.

          • How long does it take to fully charge the Powerbank.

            • 4000 mAh is just larger than a typical mobile phone battery. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge.

            • Does this support pass through charging? ?

              • Yes, the powerbank supports charging while it is plugged in and being charged itself.

              • Can I take the Megabank through TSA in carry-on luggage?

                • According to the TSA you can up to two spare batteries per customer in carry-on luggage. These powerbanks are rated < 100 watt hours which means they can be packed in checked luggage as well.

                • Does the Powerbank come with extra cables for charging my devices.

                  • Not really “extra” but the powerbank comes with two built in cables – one lightning for your iPhones and the other micro-USB for most android devices. And you can always buy a nice three pack of high-quality Paracord Lightning Cables here.

                  • Can the Powerbank be charged with USB?

                    • Yes, the powerbank is designed to be charged via USB with any standard micro-USB cable (included) and USB wall adapter (not included).
