De vloer, de muren en hun kleren in het atelier waren bezaaid met klodders verf . Kleine kloddertjes verf die hun poëtische natuur openbaren, simpelweg door hier en daar een puntje of een streepje toe te voegen. In hun werk laten ze zien aan groot en klein hoe je van een aquarelvlek in een handomdraai een tijger of een mens kunt maken. Na de rage van kleurboeken voor volwassenen zetten Peng + Hu de toon voor een nieuwe rage: hirameki!
