Champagne Louis Roederer has decided from the summer of 2021 to replace one of the house's most famous champagnes, Brut Premier, with the new Collection. The overriding motive is the desire to lift the quality and character one notch higher so that Louis Roederer further cements its status as a supplier of one of the market's absolute best non-vintage champagnes. The first edition of the Collection is properly called Collection 242 and refers to the fact that it is primarily based on vintage 2017, which is the 242nd vintage at Louis Roederer. The following editions of the Collection will of course also have a number added, which is derived in the same way.
Louis Roederer's classic non-vintage champagne, Brut Premier never disappoints you. If you compare Brut Premier with the well-known non-vintage champagnes, it is extremely superior. Their new version of their brut premier is even better, and if you have had the old version, then you can definitely look forward to trying their new non-vintage.
Concentrated, full-bodied and powerful champagne, with a wonderful mousse! When you can't drink Roederer's prestige champagne, Cristal, this is a good alternative.
