Uit inruil verkregen, twee zo goed als nieuwe vouwfietsen van Minerva, nog geen jaar oud. De ene vouwfiets heeft slechts 68km gelopen en de andere slechts 238km. De fietsen zien er uit als nieuw. Beide fietsen zijn verder identiek en voorzien van een krachtige 10,4 Ah Samsung accu. KOOPJE!

Deze vouwfietsen zijn ideaal voor de camper, boot, trein of om ze mee te nemen in de auto als u ergens een dagje wilt fietsen. Beide fietsen zijn in de kleur groen, een prachtige kleur. Verder zijn de fietsen voorzien van een krachtige Ananda voorwielmotor, een uitneembare accu en een duidelijk lcd-display. De fietsen hebben maar liefst 5 ondersteuningsstanden en 7 versnellingen. Op het lcd-display kunt u zien hoe hard u fietst, de dag afstand en er zit een totaal teller op. Ook kunt u zien hoe vol de accu is. Als extra optie kunnen we de fietsen ook voorzien van een verend comfortzadel tegen een meerprijs van € 50,-.

Memories of the Camino

First off, I have to say that my husband and I know Angela, the author. We met her because she is a neighbor of my sister, living in Hawaii. We discovered that she planned to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela the same year we were (2016) ! On a visit to Hawaii, we met with Angela and did a little local hike together. She was so enthusiastic and had prepared well. We, too, had been reading up and watching videos, getting suggestions as to what to bring, how to deal with physical issues and weather, what to pack and what not to pack, etc. Still, for anyone doing the Camino - whether the WHOLE 500 miles or doing the required 100 km to get the certificate at the final destination: Santiago de Compostela, Spain - it is a very personal endeavor. Reading Angela Leslee's book gives you the personal story of her "camino," and it is captivating. The changes that take place in her life - the discoveries she makes, the people she meets, the failures she feels, the fears, the habits that get broken (such as food choices!) - all make for an adventure that is life-changing and an interesting read. For anyone considering this pilgrimage, because that's what it is, this book will inspire you. You don't need to be part of a "group." You don't need a lot of plans. You do need to be prepared to be changed. The memory for myself and my husband is that it is the best shared experience we have had together in our 50 years of marriage! Angela's book brought back so many wonderful memories for us. I highly recommend this book.
