The FK8 and FL5 Honda Civic Type R use a special Adaptive Dampening System to control the suspension feel when swapping between the different driving modes. Whether it be soft in comfort or stiff in R+, there is something for every driving occasion. Unfortunately, this system can also cause errors when swapping to a full coilover replacement, such as the RS-R Sports-i Coilovers. Unlike the Best-i Coilovers, the Sports-i do not use the Error Cancellation Kit seen here.
The Error Canceller Kit does just as its name suggests: It clears the error shown on the dash of the FK9 or FL5 Honda Civic Type R by mimicking the signal the factory shocks send to the ECU.

Works perfect for BMW S63 engine.
I used this to change the oil on my BMW M8 with the S63 engine. It was a perfect fit. It extended far enough onto the filter housing to be quite secure with no risk of slipping off and stripping the housing. It was snug on the housing and did not bind up due to having a loose fit. The tool feels well-built and I suspect it will outlive me given my occasional personal use. It would still probably hold up well even for daily shop use as long as it was not abused (repeatedly dropped, slammed around, etc).
