Gearbox lever kit is used to improve the ergonomic properties that ensure comfort and convenience of driving a LADA 4x4 car and its modifications.
A special feature of the kit is the new location of the gearshift lever with a convenient approach to the driver, short stroke and clarity of gear switching.
The improved gear selection mechanism has "tight" tolerances to the dimensions of the guide plate slots, the drive rod fork, the plungers of the mechanism undergo a mandatory hardening stage, since their wear during operation affects the resonant noise of the transmission in the operating speed range of the engine.
To improve the quality indicators, the parts are made in factory conditions using original factory equipment, with electroplating applied to the surface to give them anti-corrosion and protective and decorative properties.

Great replacement kit
Called around for quotes to get them replaced and everyone was quoting over $2k just for bellows. Figured I’d give it a try. The rubber is good quality and feels soft. Time will tell but this is an easy job if you’re mechanically inclined. Make sure you replace the plastic water pickup fitting while you’re at it. Found mine to be cracked on disassembly and had to wait for a new one. Should be a easy 3-4 hour job if your not doing the bearing and only doing bellows
