The Strymon El Capistan V2 evolves upon the classic Strymon pedal. Pushing the proverbial envelope, the El Capistan V2 introduces new controls and voicings. The El Capistan V2 retains the same rich magnetic tape echo tones from the original with the addition of new tonal options. A new Spring knob covers an additional base for enhanced tape echo machine authenticity. Replicating the tone of spring reverbs that would come equipped with some vintage tape echo machines, the El Capistan V2 fulfills further vintage analog tones.

Deeper functions of the El Capistan V2 add routing and connection features. The El Capistan V2 allows for selection between true and buffered bypass switching options, line and instrument level signal output options, and stereo in and out options. All of this is topped off with full MIDI implementation for integrating the El Capistan into any rig.
