Reverend Guitars provide superb craftsmanship and reliability in an original design packed with top-shelf tone. The company is currently based in Toledo, Ohio - and Reverend has a partnership with Mirr Music of South Korea, where the instruments are produced. Reverend co-founder Joe Naylor and Mirr Music's Hank Cho - a third generation guitar builder - work closely together to produce Naylor's design concepts to the highest quality.
This Reverend design, the Double Agent OG, is a solid, single-cut Korina electric with a bolt-on maple neck. The Double Agent's main designative feature is its pickup combination: Humbucker in the bridge and P90 in the neck, both made in-house by Reverend. Like all Reverend guitars, the Double Agent OG features locking tuners, treble bleed cap, and bass contour control. This control allows the player to re-voice the pickups - almost in a coil split/tap sense.
The Double Agent OG is very comfortable to play - given its balanced, ergonomic offset body style. Its neck profile is a traditional C - commonly preferred as a universal fit. This gutiar has lots of attack and clarity, with a midrange bump from the Korina body.
