This rear wing stabilizer kit includes a 2 strips of 3M double sided tape and stainless steel bolts.
The VMS wing stabilizers are manufactured of high quality, and super strong automotive grade ABS molded plastic and are UV treated so they wont fade from prolonged exposure to sunlight, and the elements.
The VMS Racing STI Wing Stabilizer will reduces the flex and bounce in your rear OEM wing while adding WRC styling.
The VMS Wing Stabilizer will fit perfectly in between the wing and the trunk lid, the Wing Stabilizer will provide support for your wing, and will eliminate excessive vibration and vertical movements, eradicating that annoying bounce in the wing. You simply place the stabilizer or stabilizers (depending on how many you want to install) under the wing and secure it using the included 3M tape. This makes installation a breeze.
Installation is fairly simple. The rear wing has to be unbolted from the car. There are three bolts that hold the wing on each side of the trunk, you need to remove the bolts and loosen the wing. When you look under the wing you will see 5 sets of 2 screws. The upper part of the wing stabilizer will be bolted onto these. So you remove the appropriate number of screws that are under the wing so that you can bolt on the wing stabilizer. When you receive the wing stabilizer, it has no holes, but it is marked with cross hairs on the top of it to where you need to drill the two holes with an 11/64" drill (not included). After you drill the stabilizers, you put the 3M tape on both sides of the stabilizer, and you bolt them to the top and tape them to the bottom.
