The Detour offers a compact feel with an aggressive double cutaway design. The body has a silverleaf maple center with poplar wings. Maximum resonance is assured by the super tight neck pocket, which is masked prior to finishing to make sure there is no paint or finish residue left to impede a wood on wood connection. Strings pass through

The Detour offers a compact feel with an aggressive double-cutaway design. The body has a silverleaf maple center with poplar wings. Maximum resonance is assured by the super-tight neck pocket, which is masked prior to finishing to make sure there is no paint or finish residue left to impede a wood-on-wood connection. Strings pass through a brass plate in the back of the guitar for maximum sustain. 2 Godin humbuckers capture the amazing resonance and provide rich, punchy tone.
