Fitment Notes

  • Always verify the engine code (1KR-VE) and chassis (B100) match before ordering. Send us your VIN if verification is needed.
  • The Toyota Agya launched in South Africa in late 2020 as Toyota SA's entry-level city car, replacing the Etios in the budget segment.
  • Also sold in other markets as the Daihatsu Ayla and Perodua Axia - same platform, same 1KR-VE engine, same suspension geometry. If your vehicle has been serviced using Daihatsu or Perodua parts catalogues, Toyota OE 48510-BZ710 is the common cross-reference.
  • The three Toyota OE numbers (48510-BZ710, 48510-BZ860, 48510-BZ860N) cover progressive factory part revisions during the Agya production run. KYB 3320029 matches all three.
  • Shock absorbers should always be replaced as a pair across the same axle. Fit KYB 3320028 on the front right at the same time as this front left unit for balanced damping and predictable handling.

Installation / Use / Maintenance Tips

  • Compare the new shock absorber to the removed unit before installation - confirm length, top mounting type, bottom fitting type, and piston rod diameter match.
  • Inspect the top mount, bump stop, dust boot, lower mounting bushes, and coil spring condition before fitting the new shock absorber. Replace worn supporting components at the same time.
  • Always replace both front shock absorbers at the same time - a worn shock on one side means the paired unit on the other side is at a similar wear stage. Fitting one new shock alongside a worn one produces unbalanced handling.
  • Prime the shock absorber by extending and compressing it several times by hand before installation. Hold it vertically with the piston rod uppermost between cycles to bleed any air from the internal chambers.
  • Torque all mounting hardware to the Toyota workshop specification in the correct sequence.
  • Check wheel alignment after installation - shock replacement often reveals or aggravates existing alignment issues.
  • Test drive gently for the first few kilometres. Listen for unusual noises, check for pulling or uneven handling, and return for any follow-up work needed.

Common Questions

Will this fit my Toyota Agya?
Yes, provided your vehicle is a 2020-2023 Toyota Agya with the 1KR-VE engine and B100 chassis. Verify your VIN and engine code before ordering.

Is KYB a good brand?
KYB (Kayaba) is a long-established Japanese suspension manufacturer and is a factory original-equipment supplier to Toyota and several other Asian vehicle manufacturers. KYB shock absorbers are widely used as direct OE-quality replacements worldwide and carry a strong reputation for consistency and service life.

Is this for the left or right side?
This is the front left shock absorber. Order KYB SKU 3320028 for the front right side to complete a full axle pair - shock absorbers should always be replaced together across the same axle.

Do I need a front right one too?
Yes, in almost all cases. A worn shock absorber on one side means the paired shock on the other side is at a similar wear stage and should be replaced to preserve balanced damping and predictable handling. Order KYB SKU 3320028 for the front right side.

What's the difference between 48510-BZ710, 48510-BZ860 and 48510-BZ860N?
These are progressive Toyota OE part revisions for the 2020-2023 Agya front shock absorber. Toyota updated the part specification during the production run, and the "N" suffix typically indicates a revised (new production) version with minor updates. KYB 3320029 matches all three revisions - the shock absorber is compatible with your Agya regardless of which OE number was originally fitted.

What is the 1KR-VE engine?
1KR-VE is Toyota's 1.0 L 3-cylinder petrol engine with VVT-i variable valve timing, used in the Agya and other Toyota small cars. It also powers the Daihatsu Ayla and Perodua Axia in other markets.

How do I confirm fitment?
Check your vehicle's engine code (stamped on the cylinder block and listed on your VIN plate) reads 1KR-VE, and that your Agya was manufactured 2020-2023. Send us your VIN for verification if needed.

Wow. Just wow. An amazing read
Format: Kindle
This book was eloquently written, or should I say the authors writing style is very eloquent? I loved the characters, and the story was quite compelling. I absolutely loved the FMC, she's a BA who doesn't take any crap & gives as good as she gets. A certain person certainly got his just desserts & then some, the earlier scenes of which were quite satisfying, had me punching the air & everything haha. All in all 20/10, great read

My opinion
Format: Kindle
Let me preface this by saying I really liked the story and the characters however, this book is in desperate need of some sort of editing. It's not misspelled words or formatting, but continuous run on sentences. Redundancies within the sentences. There were a couple of paragraphs that I had to go back and reread 3 or 4 times. Overall, I'd say it was worth the read.

Beautiful
Format: Kindle
I love omegaverses I had looked at this one multiple times thinking it's just another book about cocky rock star guys that let fame get to their heads and there are parts like that so I wasn't 100% off. I started reading the second book and met the fmc Astraea from the first one, after she had a run in with the aphla from the gym.😁 it gave me the push to stop and read book one first and im so glad I did this book was amazing their was so many characters I fell in love with hoping they will find their happily ever after. the guys were great, the plot was 🎯, and the ending had me 😭😭😭. I was wondering how nate could ever redeem himself, and he did. the last scene with him was sad, but I also felt it was beautiful. thank you to the author for making a beautiful omegaverse book that gave me all the feels. now I'm jumping straight into book two.

Knot their Omega
Format: Kindle
It took me a day to really get into the book, there is a lot happening in the beginning of the story. I wish there was more of a time frame because I felt like something’s happened quickly but they were farther away than I thought so that was a little confusing to me. I felt like there was so much happening but also not enough. As for the story itself I enjoyed it, it was different than other OV I’ve read. Bring the tissues, you will need them. They guys were great, I wish we saw more of Kai and Kenjis relationship. As for Nate…… IYKYK. I enjoyed this book, my first from this author and look forward to reading about Kamaris story. Book: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Spice: 🌶️.5/5

Has Potential, Poorly Executed
Format: Kindle
I really really wanted to enjoy this book and was looking forward to reading it. However there were just one too many convoluted plot points, sentences just did not flow nicely at times, and I was left with a lot of confusion on my end. I think it has the bones of being a great story but seems like it was rushed and I had to push myself to finish the last of the book and was left with an unsatisfying ending. It’s definitely different from other omegaverse novels I’ve read but not for good reasons. I really think it could be great but needs some serious tweaking and editing before I’d read it again.
